Public access to the estate is limited to 250 visitors a day because of Hillwood's residential location and zoning restrictions. Due to high demand and our small tour sizes, you will be asked to make a deposit of $10 for adults, $8 for senior citizens 65 and older, and $5 for full-time students with identification and children under 18, when you make your reservation. An orientation brochure and tickets will be mailed once we receive your reservation deposit. Please check your tickets to confirm the date and time of your visit and bring these tickets the day of your visit. Hillwood features the most comprehensive collection of 18th- and 19th-century Russian imperial art outside of Russia, as well as one of the world's most important collections of 18th-century French decorative arts. Reservations are required to visit Hillwood and can be made by telephone or fax. Reservation requests made via fax will be confirmed by the Visitor Services staff.

On days when the Court is not sitting, the Supreme Court offers 30-minute Courtroom Lectures on the functions of the Supreme
Court and the of the Supreme Court Building. Anyone wishing to attend a lecture should line up on the front plaza of the Supreme Court Building.

The polished black granite wall is inscribed with the names of more than 58,000 persons who gave their lives or remain missing in the Vietnam War (1964-1973). The memorial was designed by Maya Ying Lin. The entrance plaza includes a flagstaff and bronze statue of three Vietnam servicemen sculpted by Frederick Hart. The Vietnam Women's Memorial features a multifigure bronze statue designed by Glenna Goodacre.

White House Visitor Center
All tours are significantly enhanced if visitors stop by the White House Visitor Center located at the southeast corner of 15th and E Streets, before or after their tour. The Center is open seven days a week from 7:30am until 4:00pm and features many aspects of the White House, including its architecture, furnishings, first families, social events, and relations with the press and world leaders, as well as a thirty-minute video. Allow between 20 minutes to one hour to explore the exhibits. The White House Historical Association also sponsors a sales area. Please note that restrooms are available, but food service is not.
