Description: / Establishing and maintaining ethical and supportive professional relationships can be challenging when working with Aboriginal communities where the worker is also a community member. This workshop provides the opportunity to explore these issues in detail, and to work towards best practice in establishing safe and client-focussed boundaries. Topics covered will include: boundary violations and crossings in trauma work, negotiating good supportive practice, dual relationships, ethical decision making and conduct, and managing secondary trauma
