COLONY BOWL
1.All participants must be sanctioned U.S.B.C. - PHBA and PHWBA members prior to January7, 2017.
2.All participants must be 50 years of age or older as of January 7, 2017.
3.All prize fees will be returned in cash or trophies. Prize ratio minimum 8awards and maximum one award per ten entries.
4.Tournament average will be determined in the following order: 1)2015-16 PHUSBCBA Year book. 2) Highest 21 game average from bowl.com records over the past five years.3) Highest 21-game average from current year PHUSBCBA league.If no average exists, bowler must use 220.
5.The qualifying round at COLONY BOWLwill be three games, with handicap(90% from 440).
6.There will be 3 qualifying age groups A- 100 thru 118; B- 119 thru 137; C- 138 and up.
7.Each age group will have representation in the finals based on the number of entries in the age group(1 to 4 teams in age group will guarantee 1 team to finals; 5 or more teams guarantees 2 teams to finals). The balance of the qualifiers will be based on the highest 3 game handicapped scores.
8.The 8 high team qualifiers will bowl in the finals immediately after qualifying round. 1stround opponent will be based on qualifying position. In the event that there is a tie a for the final qualifying spot, there will be a 9th(Left Lane)and 10th(Right Lane) Frame Baker roll off and if still tied then a 1 ball roll off until the tie is broken. High Handicap Team game will be tie breaker for all other qualifying round position ties.
9.The next 2 highest qualifiers will be alternates and will bowlin place of qualifier(s) not present/able when bowling for score is announced. 1st Alternate would replace absent highest qualifier 2nd Alternate would replace the next absent qualifier. If no alternates show and qualifier arrives late, they will be allowed to bowl but will receive zero for frames missed. Finals will be handicapped based on Baker format.
10.Prizes are based upon final standings. All rounds will consist of 2 gameBaker Handicapped total pin count.Championship round will be a two game match. In event of a tie in any round the winner will be determined by a one ball roll off. The Left lane bowler will start the one ball roll off. Bowlers will alternate lanes if it goes to more than one ball. After 1st loss you are eliminated from tournament.
11.All questions or disputes will be decided by U.S.B.C. rules and/or by the tournament director.
12.Entries are limited to 50teams. There will be one shift.
13.All fees must accompany completed entry blank. Make checks payable to the Port Huron Bowling Association.
14.All bowlers bowling in the tournament, bowl at their own risk.
15. If bowler’s current highest average is 10 pins higher with 21 games they must that average. Qualifying Round will be January 7 2017 held at
