Note: The exhibition hall will be opened for erection purpose from 08:30 hours to 17:30 hours daily during thebuild-up period. During the exhibition period, exhibitors are permitted to remain in the exhibition hall to servicetheir stands for half an hour after the exhibition closes. Due to the rigid arrangement of hours of work in China,exhibitors who, for any reasons, require working overtime in the exhibition hall should be aware of the heavycharges applied by the ExhibitionCenter. Hotels in China retain the right to cancel any booking. We must caution our exhibitors that the onlysafe bookings are those made with the recommended hotels.

3.6Translation of Promotional Materials

English product catalogues, pamphlets are acceptable in China. However, to promote yourproducts more effectively, we recommend your technical summary sheet be prepared in Chinesefor each product on display. If you wish, you may also translate your major product literature intoChinese.

3.8 Telephone

Local/IDD/DDN/ISDN telephone services are provided in the exhibition centre subject tocharge. The telephone line may be connected to the booth on request. Exhibitors will be responsiblefor all charges incurred. Owing to the limited number of lines, the services will be provided on afirst-come, first-serve basis and cannot guarantee for late or on-site order. Organizers have arranged preferential rates at several hotels close to the exhibition. Kindly refer to Order Form 13 for details.

4. RULES AND REGULATIONS

4.1Chinese Fairs Authority

i) Permit only one OFFICIAL CONTRACTOR to be appointed for each of the following roles:

STANDBUILDING AND INTERIORS, FREIGHT FORWARDING (ON SITE AND FROMLOCAL PORT/AIRPORT), TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATION.

These contractors work with their local Chinese equivalents and pay commissions or taxes asappropriate to the Hall, Association or Government as notified.

In some circumstances it is possible for two or three supervisors from another contracting firmin the field of stand building to be admitted but they MUST employ local Chinese laborsprovided by the authorities and requisitioned through the official contractor. If an exhibitor ornational group employs another such contractor they are personally responsible for negotiatingthe rates of commission and paying the taxes levied by the Chinese authorities. Noresponsibility can be accepted by the Organizer unless the official EJK appointed contractor isemployer.

No freight forwarding contractor other than the officially appointed company will be permitted towork on site in any circumstances. Packing, Unpacking and setting up labor must be orderedthrough the official freight forwarder and provided by the appropriate Chinese authorities.

For hand carry bags and non overseas freight, exhibitors are required to register at the entrancewhile they enter into the hall.

ii) Requires at least 0.60 meter clearance between existing hall walls and stands walls.

iii) Requires at least 3 meters wide aisle or passage way between rows of stands.

All exhibitors, both national group and individual, must adhere to this ruling to ensure smoothoperations on site.

4.2Censorship

All promotional materials, give-away and audio-visual presentations (films, video-tapes and slides)must be approved by the relevant Chinese authorities.

All exhibitors must comply with this and please contact our official freight forwarder immediately forarrangement.

4.3Demonstrations and Working Exhibits

An exhibitor intending to demonstrate equipment on his stand must:

i) Provided the Organizer with full details, in writing, of any working exhibits involved;

ii) Give proper consideration to the conditions under which the exhibits will be demonstrated;

IMPORTANT

iii) Cause no annoyance to visitors or other exhibitors. Exhibitors running films/videos backprojectors with commentary or any form of presentation are required to keep the sound toa level which will not interfere with neighboring stands (below 80 decibels). If written complaintis received from 3 neighboring exhibitors of such annoyance, power supply will bedisconnected from the booth which creates it.

iv) Ensure that no naked flame is used in any demonstration in the exhibition premises.

4.4Liabilities and Insurance

The Organizer will not accept liability for loss of, or damage to, and exhibits at anytime, andexhibitorsare advised to insure their exhibits against theft, loss or damage, including the risk of fire throughoutthe whole period of build up, open days and tear down.

4.5Fire Precautions

Inflammable, explosive, radiative and poisonous articles are not allowed to be stored, usedand displayedin the exhibition halls. Vehicles can only be exhibited after oil tanks are emptied and battery wiresare dismantled.

Exhibitors, who, because of the nature of their exhibits, require special type of fire extinguishers,must make arrangements, at their own cost, for the provision of such equipment.

Any person seeing an outbreak of fire, however slight, must make immediate use of the fire alarmsystem and subsequently, use every endeavor to extinguish the outbreak or to confine it by theuse of extinguishers and/or removal of goods in the vicinity.

4.6Standfitting Regulations

The following regulations must be observed when preparing a stand presentation:

a) Package/Shell Schemes Exhibitor:

i) No additional stand fitting or display may be attached to the shell stand structure i.e., nonailing or drilling will be allowed.

ii) No painting or wallpapering on the shell stand panels will be allowed. Exhibitors who wishto have the panels painted must obtain approval from the Contractor.

iii) No freestanding fitment may exceed a height of 2.44 meters or extend beyond theboundaries of the site allocated.

iv) Any change to the type or color of the floor covering provided must be by priornegotiation with the shell stand contractor and any costs incurred must be paid directlyby the exhibitor.

v) An exhibitor occupying a corner booth has a choice to have the side panel replaced by afascia board, complete with name, at no difference in cost.

vi) No financial credit can be given by the Organizers for standard items not utilized.

b) Raw Space Exhibitor

i) Minimum width of gangway in exhibition hall is 3 meters while main gangway is 4meters. The width of the gangway facing opening stands on the four sides of theexhibition hall is 2.5 meters.

ii) Raw space exhibitors must note that if they have exhibitors behind their booths, they canonly build 50% of their booth area to maximum height, while the other 50% area shouldnot exceed 2.5 meters. The only exception is if booth construction is 2 meters inside theperimeter of the booth. Otherwise authorization shall be obtained from the organizer.

For ceiling height and booth restriction, please refer to General Information 3.7.

iii) No part of any structure may extend beyond the boundaries of the site allocated.

iv) No suspension may be made from the ceiling of the exhibition hall nor may any fixing bemade to the floor, walls, or any other part of building without the approval of Hall Authorities.

v) Exhibitors wishing to construct false ceiling at their stand must submit duplicate drawings

to the Organizers for approval.

vi) The name and stand number of the exhibitor should be prominently displayed.

vii) Dimensional drawings in triplicate, showing the proposed design of the stand must besubmitted to ChinaInternationalExhibitionCenter, Technical Dept.for approval before any work is put in hand, and in any case NOT LATER THAN September 10th, 2010. Contact details, Tel: 8460 0234,

One copy of the drawings will be returned authorizing construction to proceed if the designis acceptable. Failure to obtain approval can result in costly alterations on site being requiredby the Organizers.

viii) Exhibitor with ‘Raw Space’ site must provide a suitable floor covering such as carpet fortheir stand.

ix) The outer surface of ‘Raw Space’ only stand constructions must be surfaced and decoratedif visible from the aisles.

x)Any exhibitor engaging an outside contractor for stand construction and interior decorationother than our official stand contractor must submit design layout to the Organizers forapproval.

IMPORTANT

xi) Outside stand fitters are required to pay and administration fee of US$6.00 per sq. meterto the Exhibition Hall. They are required to contact CustomerServiceCenter on 2/F ofHall 1 for payment. In addition, outside stand fitters are also required to obtain workingbadges in order to be allowed to enter the Exhibition Hall. Badge fee is US$10.00 perperson.

4.7Package/Shell Scheme Specifications

All bookings for Package/Shell Schemes will be provided with a modular shell stand to thefollowing specifications:

i) Back wall and divider wall.

ii) Fascia Board with company name in English and Chinese.

iii) Needle-punch carpet as floor covering.

iv) Two fluorescent lights (40 watts) behind the fascia board.

v) One 13 Amp (5 Amp fuse) socket

vi) One information counter (1.00 x 0.40 x .76m high)

vii) Two folding chairs

viii) One waste paper basket

4.8Electrical Supplies

Hall lighting (approximately 150 lux) will be provided by the Organizers. The standard supplies ofelectrical current available for use on stands at the exhibition are single phase alternating at 220

volts 50Hz and three phase alternating at 380 volts 50Hz with fluctuation of 20%.

SUPPLIES TO STAND WILL NORMALLY BE SWITCHED OFF AT SOURCE 15 MINUTES

AFTER THE EXHIBITION CLOSES EACH DAY (5 MINUTES ON THE FINAL DAY) BUT 24

HOUR SUPPLIES CAN BE PROVIDED BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT WITH THE ELECTRICALCONTRACTOR, ANY COST INVOLVED MUST BE PAID BY THE EXHIBITOR.

An exhibitor requiring electrical supply at times other than those stated must make application tothe Organizers’ Office on site 24 hours in advance. Such supplies cannot be arranged at shortnotice.

4.9Electrical Installation

ALL ELECTRICAL INSTALLATIONS ON STANDS MUST BE CARRIED OUT BY THE OFFICIALELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR, BEIJING COMBINATIONN COMFERENCE&EXHIBITION SERVICE CO., LTD

Installation of electrical equipment should meet the requirement of “The United Standard ofElectrical Engineering Installation” and concerned technical norm. Sub switch for electrical mainscontrol should be equipped in halls (rooms). The wire to be used is copper wire with double-layerinsulation protection cover, and has a distance from inflammable structure, decorative materialsand exhibits or install non-inflammable separation layer to assure safety. The twice subsided routeof the transformer for sand plate, model and chart must have protection equipment in good order;the maximum diameter of the wire bundle is 2 mm. The transformer must be placed on anoninflammable frame or stand. To insert electrical wire in panel board, it should be protected bycasing pipe. Lighting box must have sufficient radiation holes, Electrical wares, such as iodinetungsten lamp, high pressure lamp, electric stove, iron are prohibited to be used on the stands,and overload electricity is also prohibited. During construction period, temporary wiring must conformto the concerned regulations.

For exhibitors who have ‘Raw Space’ site bookings, the number and type of electrical fittings andinstallation required must be indicated on FORM 8. Shell Scheme exhibitors are reminded thattheir stands are provided with electrical fittings (see paragraph 4.7).

Exhibitors needing to use their own electrical fittings (power outlets, fluorescent lights, spotlights,etc.) owing to functional or aesthetic reasons will also be charged according to prices indicated onFORM 8. Installation must be carried out by the official contractor.
