Louisiana in 1805 Map (50 pts)
1. Top of the map write: Louisiana in 1805
2. Using pg. 154 roughly estimate where each parish would have been located. Draw the lines in and label each parish accordingly.
3. Label the Red River and the Mississippi River in blue. Trace the line of the rivers in blue.
4. Label Lake Pontchartrain and shade it blue.
5. Using the map on pg. 155, label the neutral strips with purple and yellow stripes. Shade the stripes.
6. Using the map on pg. 155 shade the area owned by Spain in red. Be sure to shade the area on the western side of Louisiana red as well (where Texas would be).
7. Using the map on pg. 155 shade the Territory of Orleans in green.
8. Make a map key labeling the colors you used for: Neutral Strip, Areas owned by Spain, and the Territory of Orleans.
