What is a Recruitment Guide?

A recruitment guide is an integral part of the Kansas State University recruitment process. She is sometimes the first impression a potential new member has of the Greek community. Recruitment Guides offer support, and guidance throughout the recruitment process. They must be able to promote an understanding of the benefits of Greek affiliation and emphasize similarities of goals and ideals of all women’s chapters. Their goal is never to promote their own chapter but to promote the Greek community as a whole.

Requirements for Recruitment Guide:

  • Have a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA
  • Attend once a month training sessions for the months of February, March, and April during Spring 2014 semester
  • Disaffiliate from your chapter starting immediately after finals week in May through the end of recruitment week.
  • Must have no contact with your chapter during Formal Recruitment until you are released from your duties as a Kansas State University Panhellenic Recruitment Guide. This includes phone calls, text messages, in-person meetings, e-mails and all forms of social media.
  • Must have a high standard of ethical behavior.
  • Follow recruitment week and work week guidelines set by the Directors of Recruitment and the Greek Affairs staff

I have read the above requirements and am willing to meet all these expectations if chosen to serve as a Recruitment Guide.
