a) Food Committee
· The SNA Food Committee is collaborating with Silver Grove to fill the gap in food insecurity in the community until the Freestore Foodbank pantry is in place. The largest concern is finding a dry, secure place to store and distribution of food. Other concerns surround how to engage the community creatively. Possibilities of a mobile pantry have been discussed.
· The next SNA Food committee Meeting will be Wednesday, July 13th, 2016 from 12:00-1:30 PM at Brighton Family Center, Newport.
b) Website Committee
· The website committee hosted round table discussion and survey at the SNA General Meeting 5.18.16 in an effort to gauge how we can best move forward with the functionality of the website.
· Rebuilding the website is not cost effective. The committee will look into grants available, survey results collected confirmed a desire from the membership for a new website/app for the Safetynet; next steps are to hire a consultant.

c) Work Supports
· The SNA Work Supports Committee is working on breaking down Work Supports programs currently available and uncovering barriers with each program. The committee would like to see some alignment of benefits and will work to advocate for easier access to benefits for people in need of work supports.
· The SNA Work Supports Committee has voted and decided to concentrate their efforts on three areas: 1) SNAP/KTAP/CCAP 2) ACA 3) Transportation
· Melissa Hall-Sommer will reach out to DCBS to invite them to a SNA Work Supports meeting.
· The SNA Work Supports Committee agrees that the Transportation piece should probably be a task force group formed under the SNA.
· The next SNA Work Supports meeting will be Friday, July 1st, 2016 from 12:00-2:00 PM at Brighton Family Center, Newport.
d) Housing Task Force
· The SNA Housing Task Force has extended the Landlord Survey to August 31st, 2016.
· The subgroup of resource advocates met June 3rd, 2016. The group discussed barriers and creative outreach programs to homeless persons. Meeting minutes are posted on the SNA portal.
· Dawn Fogarty-NKCAC has offered to send the landlord survey to the list of landlords she has connection with in September. Jennifer Wiley suggested that social service agencies reach out to landlords with paper surveys sent in rent checks.
