Purpose
This qualification recognises the skills and knowledge required by people working in Ticketing and Guest Services at a snowsport area. Holders of this qualification have competently demonstrated their product knowledge and sales skills, as well as customer service and complex sales transaction skills. The qualification has been designed with an elective component to allow for specialisation or increased industry knowledge.
For people who wish to continue working and training in the snowsport industry, this qualification leads on to the National Certificate in Snowsport (Supervision) with strands in Lift Operation, Patrol Leader, Snowsport Equipment, Snowgrooming, Snowmaking, Snowschool, and Ticketing and Guest Services [Ref:1219].

This qualification will be awarded to people who have met the requirements of the compulsory and elective sections.

- Standard 403 removed from the compulsory section.
- Standards 8638, 6400, 17497, and the Skiing and Snowboarding domain added to the elective section.
- Standards 56, 57, 58, 62, 64, 435, 436, 1277, 1304, 2893, 2925, 4573, 4574, 4591-4594, 4596-4600, 6401, 6402, 11816, 11819, 11944, 11955, 12000, 17468, 18103 and 18104 removed from the elective section.

This qualification contains standards that replace earlier standards. For the purposes of this qualification people who have gained credit for the expiring standard are exempt from the requirement to gain credit for the replacement standard.
