Applications are invited to fill the posts of Sub Divisional Engineers in the pay scale of Rs. 15600-39100+Grade pay 5400 on prescribed format (downloadable from the website) from the eligible candidates of Indian Nationality having below mentioned qualifications .

  1. Age limit as on 01.01.2010 should be between 18 to 35 years. Age relaxation of 5 years for SC category and 3 years for OBC category candidates as per Chandigarh Administration instructions issued from time to time.
  1. Relaxation in age upto a maximum of 10 years is admissible if a candidate is physically handicapped having disability 40% or more.
  2. Applications in the prescribed format alongwith attested copies of certificates (i.e. Proof of DOB, Educational Qualification/ Experience ) and three self attested passport size photographs accompanied by a Bank draft of Rs. 500/- (250/- for SC candidates) drawn in favour of Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh payable at Chandigarh, must reach on or before 5th July 2010 in the office of Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, New Deluxe Building, Sector 17, Chandigarh.
  3. Physically handicapped persons are exempted from application fee.
  4. Incomplete application, applications without prescribed fee and applications received after due date shall not be accepted.
  5. Application form & instructions may be downloaded from the Website of Municipal Corporation, Chandigarh i.e. mcchandigarh.gov.in
  6. In case the candidate desires to apply for more than one post, the separate application for the same shall be submitted alongwith requisite fee.

Note:Number of above given vacancies shall be subject to increase or decrease as per availability of these posts at the time of appointment.
