·  2400 blk Shady Ave.- 5/24/ 1100 hrs – Victim left his bag at the school field during class and someone removed a cell phone, wallet and headphones.
·  1800 blk Shaw Av- 5/27 0930 hrs - Victim states that after a cleaning crew had been to her house she discovered money and a cell phone were stolen.
·  Forbes Ave @ Wightman – 5/16 0001 hrs – Victim left his cell phone in Uber cab – Unknown person used phone and has not returned it.
§  Aggravated Assault:
·  Forbes & Beeler Sts.- 5/27/ 0120 hrs - Victim was highly intoxicated and could not recall details of where or when the assault occurred but said she had been pushed from a male’s car.
§  Theft from Auto:
·  5800 blk (rear) Forbes Av.- 5/27- 2100 hrs -Victim states he parked his car at this location and when he returned the rear window was shattered and a computer and computer bag were taken.
·  Covode St. & Yeshiva Way – 5/29/ 0001hrs - Victim states that while his vehicle was parked at this location his wheels and rims were stolen from the vehicle, which was left on cinder blocks.
·  Overlook Dr./Greenfield Ave. – 5/25 0800 hrs. to 1748 hrs. - Forced entry. Damage to key hole. Taken: brown leather bag, Motorola walkie-talkie.
§  Sexual Assault (Rape)
·  6500 blk Rosemoor St. – 5/24 2200 hrs. – Victim stated she was raped by her husband.

§  Theft by Deception
·  7700 blk Abbott St. – 5/24 0800 hrs. to 1510 hrs. – The owner of Precision Edge Landscaping stated that his account was overdrawn. He believes his employee cashed a paycheck more than once (electronically and in person).
§  Burglary (Criminal Attempt):
·  7200 blk Thomas Blvd - 5/29 0400 hrs.-Victim heard noises coming from
her fire-escape window. She heard the window open, saw a shadow, and she yelled for actor to get out. She heard the actor run back down the fire escape.
§  Theft from Residence:
·  6700 blk Thomas Blvd – 5/24 0001 hrs – Victim reported not receiving package that was paid for. Possible theft.
·  100 blk S. Homewood Ave – 5/24 1600 hrs – Victim reported that unknown person stole cement “flag Stone” slabs from their front yard. $23 value

·  7600 blk Waverly St – 5/23 2330 – Unknown entry – Misc Items stolen. $225
·  100 blk S. Homewood Ave – 5/23 0830 hrs – Victim said that on 5/15 unknown person stole a briefcase, Dell Laptop, Garmin GPS, and sunglasses from victim’s locked vehicle. Value: $4000.
·  7700 blk Lyman St – 5/26 2302 hrs – Victim reports unknown person stole a check in amount of $871 from his vehicle.

§  Criminal Trespass Residence:
·  1st blk W. Elizabeth St. – 5/25 1200 hrs. – 3 ARRESTS – Actors were arrested for forcing their way into an abandoned home and using drugs.
·  500 blk Courtland St – 5/23 1013 hrs – Victim reports that person(s) unknown entered the secured fenced area and stole items from vehicle inside the property. Value $900. Juvenile actor known and juvenile attachment is pending.
§  Theft from Residence:
·  200 blk E. Elizabeth Street – 5/23 1403 hrs. – Victim reported that between 5/20 & 5/23 person(s) unknown stole a firearm from victim’s dresser drawer.

·  700 blk Johnston Av. - 3/29 1500 hrs to 4/20 2359 hrs reported 5/27 0900 hrs
Victim reports that a package to be delivered to a new address was instead delivered to his old address and that the package was stolen.

·  Glenwood Av & Mansion St._5/28/0500 hrs to 5/28/ 0504 hrs
Officers responding to a shots-fired call at 2nd and Almeda St. found a car stopped in traffic and a victim covered in blood. The victim had been involved in a domestic dispute and been cut with a razor multiple times. (Arrest was made)

500 blk Frayne St. 5/27/ 1700 to 5/28/ 0845 hrs
Victim states that overnight someone stole his .38 revolver from his vehicle’s glove box.

·  4600 blk Marina Dr. - 5/22 1400 hrs. to 5/23 1500 hrs. - Items taken from an unlocked backyard shed. Taken: mower, weed-wacker.
GREENFIELD: Census Tracts (1515, 1517)
§  Theft from Person:
·  700 blk Greenfield Av. 5/26 2000 to 2030- victim was at the basketball courts at Magee
Field and set her iPhone down; when ready to leave, she discovered the phone gone.
§  Theft from Auto:
·  1100 blk - Greenfield Av.- 5/28 0030 hrs to 0100 hrs- Victim states his duffel bag was
stolen from his vehicle, which had been left unlocked. The victim has video showing
the actor checking multiple vehicle doors on the street.
OAKLAND: Census Tracts (402, 403, 404,4 05, 406, 409, 507)
§  Stolen Vehicle:
·  3200 blk Juliet St. - 5/22 1200 hrs. to 5/23 0815 hrs. - Victim was unable to locate his keys and believes he may have dropped them on the ground. No signs of forced entry (broken glass, e.g.,) where he had parked his vehicle. Taken: 2008 Honda CR-V, light blue.
§  Theft from Residence:
·  2000 blk Fifth Ave. - 5/20 0800 hrs. to 5/24 0830 hrs. - Known actor removed a handgun from victim’s apartment. Taken: Glock pistol.
§  Theft from Business:
·  209 Atwood St. - Rite Aid- Retail Theft - 5/27 0510 hrs – Seeing a female flee the store with concealed merchandise, store manager noted suspect vehicle’s license plate. Officers located the vehicle and stolen merchandise and have applied for an arrest warrant.
·  209 Atwood St. - Rite Aid – Retail Theft - 5/29 0111 hrs - Store employee reported that a male entered the store, stole several items and fled.
·  3700 Forbes Ave. - Rite Aid – Retail Theft- 5/29/ 1440 hrs - Store manager reports that two males acting together committed thefts on three separate occasions.
§  Theft from Auto:
·  100 blk Lytton Av. - 5/28 2230 hrs - Victim states she after parking her car at the Wyndham University Center Garage she returned to find her window shattered and purse stolen. A credit card from the purse was used subsequently at a gas station.
·  3100 blk Bohem St. - 5/29 0147 hrs. - Victim states that someone attempted to steal items from her vehicle. Video shows two males going through the vehicle and appearing to grab loose change.
§  Theft by Deception:
·  4600 blk Bayard St. - 5/23 1514 hrs – Victim sent check $805 to reserve a villa in Bali and later found that the property manager’s email had been hacked. PNC bank did not release check.
SHADYSIDE: Census Tracts (703,705,706,708,709)
§  Theft from Auto:
·  5900 blk Elwood St. - 5/23 1800 hrs. to 5/24 0630 hrs. Officers responded to a call of a suspicious bag. They recovered a photo ID and miscellaneous items in the bag and contacted its owner who stated that a computer bag was stolen from her vehicle. Unknown entry. Taken: Laptop and miscellaneous items valued at $1000.
·  900 blk S Negley Av.-5/28 1140 hrs - Victim states he parked on Howe St near S.Negley and when he returned discovered his laptop, gold chain, watch, iPad and iPod missing. Value: $7750. Unknown entry.
§  Theft from Business:
·  5415 Walnut St. – 5/10 1230 hrs. to 5/24 1628 hrs. – Roberta Weissburg Leathers – Owner was contacted by PGH Police Det. stating that one of her items was pawned at a pawn shop. Victim checked inventory and realized piece of jewelry was missing. Actor is known – Warrant pending.
§  Burglary:
·  6100 blk Spirit St. 5/28 0100 hrs – Eastside Bond Apartments - This is new construction of apartments. 4 refrigerators and 3 electric ranges were missing; 4 refrigerators and 5 ranges were also removed but found lined up outside, some of them on a dolly. Value: $5200
§  Theft from Person:
·  6300 blk Shakespeare St. 5/29 1400 hrs -Victim states she took a jitney to the State Store, went into the store leaving her purse in the jitney, and when she returned, the jitney driver and her purse were gone.
