SPECIFIC ACHIEVEMENTS AT CAP GEMINI (1996/2002)

·  Strategy

-  Develop “service offerings” with major partners in order to be ahead of competition and sustain growth, in particular on emerging markets or technologies (e.g. develop in advance a close relationship with CISCO to address the “new-world” which led to an 870 M€ CISCO investment in CAP GEMINI)).

-  This requires having a “vision” based on a strong knowledge of the industry and key people.

·  Sales

-  CGTF has become a company with a very strong international flavour and leading projects all over the world, either with local CAP GEMINI subsidiaries or with partners. (operating in 20 countries, with major projects across the different continents: Brazil, Mexico, Central Europe, Morocco, Bahrain, Taiwan, etc.).

-  Developed the France Telecom account, which is also the largest Capgemini global account. (> 100 M€/year)

·  Delivery

-  Decreased “production loss” by a 90% over the 96-99 period.(and then maintain quality )

-  Projects delivered on time (e.g. New mobile operators launch), high customer satisfaction.

·  People management

-  From a management which was, in 1996, focused on technical issues, moved quickly the management to become, also, client and people focused. Build, again, a strong professional and highly motivated team.

·  Financial

-  Organic growth from 550 people to 1350 people in 4 years. 35% revenue growth over 3 consecutive years (1998-2000) , then maintain profitability in “difficult” times (2001/2002).
