Job Title:Production Janitor

Summary: As a part of the production team, the individual holding this position is responsible formaintaining the cleanliness standards of the production facility as required in a cooperative and professional manner.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESincluding but not limited to the following:

  • Clean equipment designated in all areas of the production facility.
  • Maintain floors free from debris during designated production hours for the Flex line, Bottle room and Warehouse packaging areas to include cleanup for spills and broken bottles.
  • Empty all trash receptacles throughout production facility.
  • Perform duties in a timely manner as defined by the HRD Sanitation Checklist.
  • Ability to maintain inventory levels of supplies needed and fill out required request effectively.
  • Perform other cleaning or housekeeping duties as assigned
  • Follow all Safety Rules as required to include using personal protective equipment such as safety glasses and gloves.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

There are no supervisory duties for this position other than self-supervision of duties.

Education and/or Experience:

A minimum of 1 years of experience demonstrating an ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Understanding of appropriate safety techniques required in custodial work. Ability to maintain and work with a variety of cleaning equipment.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and comprehend written procedures, instructions, short correspondence, memos, safety and quality manuals, and SDS. Ability to communicate verbal and written correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to other employees of the organization. Ability to follow verbal directions. Skills test apply.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts using addition, multiplication, subtraction, and division. Ability to do these calculations using units of American standard measure and metric measure. Skills tests apply.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations
