Chief Electro-Mechanical Engineer
Atlantic City Linen Supply, LLC is looking for a Chief Engineer for our commercial laundry located in Norwich, CT. Atlantic City Linen Supply, LLC. is part of the largest group of commercial hospitality laundry service providers. We currently operate highly automated processes on the East and West Coasts of North America, Cancun and the Bahamas.
Qualified candidates must be able to perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed. Installing equipment, machines, wiring and controlling operations of equipment is required. The perfect hire for this job must be self-motivated and able to work with minimal to no supervision. Strong time management skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities at once is an asset to anyone in this position. The ability to troubleshoot to determine a cause and conduct testing and inspections is mandatory. Candidates must be able to work in hot atmospheres and sounds and noise levels that can be distracting. Managing and working with others in teams in a close proximity is essential. Leads are responsible for training all current and new personnel on the OSHA mandated safety, lock-out/tag-out and confined space procedures. Proficient computer skills is a requirement for this position. Candidates with prior skilled labor experience and/or license is preferred.
Education/ Experience High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Candidates with prior skilled labor experience and/or license is preferred. Prior experience managing personnel, creating schedules, disseminating discipline and employee reviews, approving payroll and working with budgets is preferred. Must be computer proficient.
