Great Manchester Police Concert Band play the very first concert of the season in the newly re-furbished Victorian bandstand. Supported by Salford soprano Abbie Jordan with Mark Stead as your Compere.
An elegant evening of outdoor music in the park. We advise you to bring your own chairs, picnic tables and refreshments.

11 bowling teams take to the superb greens during the summer as Victoria Park becomes the bowling capital of the world (ok, Salford). This gentle and relaxing sport provides spectators with a great opportunity to soak up the sun and enjoy this highly competitive, yet friendly sport. Panama hats and cucumber sandwiches are a must!
