1.0 Welcome & Introduction to new members

1.1 Expectations of the Meeting & 1.2Present Team Charter Purpose – new members

Quan Lac presented the EURAB charter and welcomed members.

2.0 Overview of Agenda & Action Items from last meeting

Seema Martin provided an overview of the agendas and action items. All action items were either closed, complete or due to be presented at the meeting.

3.0 Global Comparison

Arshad Hafeez presented the Global comparison health Indicator charts.

Slide 2 - Status of number of Audits and Auditors - Plan: conduct 885 audits with 21 fulltime equivalent auditors. As of July 7th, PRI has surpassed the target and have scheduled 1012 audits with 20 auditors.

Slide 3 - Status of New Primes in 2006 - focus on MHU, IHI, Agusta Aerospace, United Space Alliance, Assault and Thales.

Slide 4 -Europe Nadcap Auditor Growth - focus on Chemical Processing, Heat Treatment and Composites recruitment.

Slide 5 & 6 - Supplier merit All Sectors - Overall supplier merit is 73% across sectors. The trend of merit-eligible suppliers in increasing every year.

Slide 7 - Initial Audit Review Cycle Time- Europe Sector - The 2006 goal is 80. This goal has been surpassed with 74 days.

Slide 8 – Reacred Audit Review Cycle Time – Europe Sector – The 206 goal is 50. This is being worked at present (number of days at 53).

Overall the statistics for all European MOS’s have a similar trend to that of the Americas.

4.0 Auditors vs. language skills

Seema Martin presented the European Auditor Language Analysis. The main purpose of conducting this research is to establish the percentage of Nadcap audits carried out at non-native English speaking European suppliers.

Interestingly, in July 2005 40% of the European suppliers were English and 10% were French. In July 2006 40% of the European suppliers were English and 26% were French. There are more European auditors now therefore percentage of corresponding auditors has gone down in some instances. The European office continues to monitor auditor language capacity, enhance existing resources such as eAuditStaff and accommodate suppliers’ interest in native language auditors when possible.

5.0NCSI

Seema Martin presented the Nadcap Customer Support Initiative (NCSI) European Program Results as of July 10th 2006. Airbus, Boeing, Honeywell, MTU and Rolls Royce plc has hosted past sessions. The initial major NCR's of NCSI attendees was equal to those not attending NCSI sessions, however the minors NCR average of those attending an NSCI session was 33% lower. The initial supplier cycles of NCSI attendees was equal to those not attending NCSI sessions, however initial supplier cycle time was 18% lower than 2005 average of non-attendees

5.1 NUCAP

Seema Martin explained that specific NUCAP NCSI sessions can be held for Primes. Rolls Royce plc has utilized this in the past and found that these sessions prepared staff more effectively and has significantly increased internal communication.

6.0 Safran Conference Update

Cherif Khelil and Phillipe Gastebois provided an overview of the Safran update held in Paris in February and its success. Particular emphasis was placed on the presentations being available in French and English and thebenefits provided to suppliers when preparing for a Nadcap audit.

7.0Joint Industry Authorities Update

Arshad Hafeez presented a summary of discussions between IAQG representatives and the NAA Leadership team. The key point is that the POA/PAH cannot solely rely on Industry Controlled Other Party (ICOP) schemes for its supplier control. The authorities want to work with IAQG to make ICOP successful. Also, the verification by the authorities of the scheme is needed to gain acceptance by the authorities.

Camille Valmy presented Airbus discussions with the DGAC. Letter not attached due to confidentiality. However it discusses that the IAQG ICOP scheme is used by Airbus to ensure that suppliers QMS meets the EN9100 series standards.

8.0 Regulatory Issues

There was no change to the regulatory matrix.

9.0 EU Supplier/subscribers Issues

There were no EU Supplier/Subscriber issues reported.

10.0 SSC Update

This item was tabled as Dave Michaud provided the SSC update at the NMC meeting that morning.

11.0 AOB (Next Activity)

EURAB members agreed that overall key regional objectives were being met. EURAB would meet at the next Nadcap meeting in Europe (2007). During this meeting all members will discuss and decide whether the EURAB should continue to meet on a face-face basis. Quarterly updates will still continue and be sent after each Nadcap meeting.

The minutes from the previous meeting were approved.
