AMENDMENT
THIS matter coming on for hearing before the Commission at Brisbane on 8 and 22 June 2005, this Commission orders that the said Award be amended as follows as from 22 June 2005:
1. By inserting the following after Schedule B at the end of clause 1.2:
“Hours provisions for employees employed by Golden Circle Limited SCHEDULE C”.
2. By inserting a new Schedule C as follows:
“SCHEDULE C – Hours provisions for employees employed by Golden Circle Limited
1. Application
Schedule C only applies to employees employed at Golden Circle Cannery, Earnshaw Road Northgate, Brisbane.
2. Hours
2.1 The ordinary working hours will be worked over a 19 day, 4 week cycle. The composition of this cycle shall be 3 consecutive weeks of 39.5 hours per week and one week of 31.5 hours per week i.e. 7 hours, 54 minutes per day. Such ordinary hours shall be worked between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday to Friday:
Provided that a minimum of 30 minutes lunch break is taken between the fourth and the sixth hour of work.
2.2 This Schedule has been inserted as a result of an application to amend the Award arising from the decision of the Full Bench of the Commission on 30 June 2004 (and published at (2004) 176 QGIG 494) to move to declare Industrial Agreements obsolete. Given the origin of Schedule C the provisions contained within it are not to be used as a precedent for any other matter whatsoever.”.
