Matters arising:

Thank you to Alison Ridley who did the presentation today on Safeguarding. This is why the meeting was shorter today.

Marilyn has resigned on the 17.09.2013 from her post of co-chair of the LIG. She says “Dear Amanda, After carefully thought, I decided not to continue LIG meeting and would like to stand down as co-chair. Yours sincerely, Marilyn Kirk”

Amanda Cree will arrange for someone else from Havant Day Service to come to the meeting.

We will all miss Marilyn in the LIG.

Partnership Board matters –

We need a new parent/carer for the Partnership Board as Peter Allen has resigned. Flo phoned Peter Clarke who cannot make the next Partnership Board meeting.

Donna and Karen have been busy with the plan. They went to a meeting on the 4th September and Karen thinks it went well.

Havant Day service had a mini service user consultation.

Amanda said that if you have a pet, sometimes you cannot use Shared Life.

Our main consultation event for this LIG is on the 13th November. We will need some helpers please.

If you are computer literate, please use the link below (it saves Flo some work!) - https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/LD_Plan

People with learning disabilities need to be supported if they are filling in the questionnaire.

Don’t forget, the LD plan is a working document.
