In this packet, you will find an event schedule, shipping and payment information, map with directions to the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center, hotel accommodations and an invoice for the event. We have also made arrangements with Enterprise Rent-A-Carto guarantee Career Expo attendees a rental vehicle on the day of the Expo. Instructions on how to do so are listed on page four of this packet. These instructions must be followed to insure the guaranteedrental of a vehicle.
We currently have you scheduled to attend the Spring 2016Career Expo on Thursday,February 11, 2016, from 11 am to 4 pm. The Career Expo will be hosted at the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center located at 1501 Mac Davis Lane, Lubbock, TX 79401.
We have interviewrooms available if you are interested in hosting on-campus interviews. Please let us know as soon as possible so we may reserve a room for you.Employers interviewing the day after the Career Expo will be restricted to 2 rooms in order to accommodate as many employers as possible.These rooms run out fast!! All interviews taking place on February 12th will be Room Reservations only. Recruiters will be in charge of making their own schedules the day of the Expo. (**If you would like a Pre-Select schedule please let the Rawls CMC know.)
Employer set-up for the Career Expo will begin at 9:00 am. The student walk-through of the Expo is from 11:00am until 4:00pm.Career Expo times have been set according to student class schedules and flights in and out of Lubbock. We ask that all companies keep their booths set-up for the entirety of the event. Because many students visit the Expo around their class schedules, it is crucial we give every student the opportunity to meet with you during the advertised time.
If you are interested in shipping your Career Expo materials prior to the event, you may begin sending your items on Monday, February 1, 2016. Please ensure that your items arrive by Monday, February 8th. Please see included documents for complete shipping information.

1. All packages must be labeled and shipped to the Lone Star Decorating (LSD) warehouse.
2. Packages must be received byFebruary 9thLSD will transport packages to the Career Expo on February 11th.
3. Please DO NOTship packages to the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center, to the CMC, or to your hotel.
4. Please limit your packages to 200 lbs if you are shipping throughLSD.

from Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport:
Lubbock Preston Smith International Airport is located approximately 15 minutes away from the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center and is serviced by Southwest, Continental, and American Airlines.
As you exit the airport onto Martin Luther King Blvd., turn west onto Regis. Proceed south onto IH-27 and take the 6A exit and continue to follow N Avenue Q. Turn left onto Mac Davis Ln, and the destination will be on the right.

We have reserved a block of rooms for $129 per night at the Overton Hotel, located at 2322 Mac Davis Lane. The Overton Hotel is located in the heart of the Texas Tech community and is a short driving distance from the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center. Please click on the link below to make your reservation.
