INSTRUMENT BANK 50/50 SCHEME 2013
Music Generation Sligo wishes to develop a county-wide Instrument Bank in partnership with local schools, youth, community and musicorganisations in Sligo.
You are eligible to apply to this scheme if you are a Sligo school or non-professional performing group or ensemble, or if you are aSligo-based organisation seeking to buy instruments for non-professional music making and learning in any genre for young people under the age of 18 as part of your organisation’s activities.
You must be in a position to fund 50% of instrument costs in 2013.

SECTION 4 - CONDITIONS OF AWARD
4.1If your application is successful, the Music Generation Sligo Instrument Bank 50/50 Scheme will provide 50% of the cost of the proposed instruments. Music Generation Sligo will purchase the instruments on your behalf. Please outline how you will raise the other 50% and pay to Music Generation Sligo before December 16th 2013.
4.2 Music Generation Sligo would like to gather data from you on an annual basis to measure the impact of our support in helping to createthese new Instrument Banks in County Sligo. We will send you a short survey to complete in December of each year.
4.3 The instrument banks will be named ‘Your Organisation Name’ & Music Generation Sligo Instrument Bank.

About Music Generation Sligo
Music Generation is a national music education programme for children and young people, initiated by Music Network, funded by U2 and The Ireland Funds. Music Generation Sligo is part of the network of local music education partnerships established under this programme, funded and managed locally by Mayo SligoLeitrim ETB, Sligo County Council, Sligo Education Centre, Sligo County Childcare Committee, Cranmore Regeneration Project, the Department of Environment & Local Government and the local music sector.
