The summertime countdown has officially begun. This year has gone by so fast. We are presently working on the famous artist unit , a little something for mom, and trying to squeeze in as much as possible in the days we have remaining. During the last two weeks of May ( May 9-20) Prek will celebrate our year together with 2 weeks filled with fun activities—each day will be special. Thanks for helping make this last 2 weeks so special for these sweet children. We will need some help each day with treats. Please contact the room moms or Ms. Karen if you can help with supplies for any of the days. ..room moms are Angelique Freel and Amy Brown. Thanks in advance for all of your help and support this year. It has been an outstanding year!!!!!! Last day for Prek is May 20. .Have a wonderful summer!!!!
“End of Year” activities are as follows:
Tues. May 10 Favorite Book and Snack Day:
Bring a couple of your favorite books and candy bar and/or chips, or cookies (just enough for yourself) to enjoy on this day. We will play board games, bingo, parachute, and relay games. We will picnic with our snack and a good book
Wed. May 11 Favorite Stuffed Animal or Toy Day: Bring your favorite toys for a day of
Show and Tell fun all day long
Thurs. May 12 Bathing Suit and bike Day:
Wear a bathing suit to school with a t-shirt cover-up, water- safe shoes, sunscreen, towel, and extra clothes in a bag. Please
label everything. And bring your bike, hotwheels or tricycle.
If anyone has a small wadding pool please let us know we may
Need to borrow it. We need about 5 pools for this day…a slip
N slide and water sprinklers. We will wash our bikes with shaving
Cream and ride and play in the water all day…each child will need to be
Covered in sun screen, and bring their water bottle..we will need popsicles,
A snack like chips or granola bars without nuts
Fri. May 13 Ice Cream Day:We will make ice cream sundaes and top them with lots of
Special toppings like M&Ms, marshmellows, sprinkles, cool whip and
Cookies.
Mon- May16 Favorite Outside Toy Day: they can bring their favorite outside toys
(bubbles, footballs, soccer balls, tennis balls, frizbees, hula hoops)
Tues.- May 17 Superhero dress-up Day
Let’s all dress up in our favorite costume…you may pack extra clothes just in case…
Wed. May 18 Grandparents Day and Movie and Popcorn Day…Grandparents will visit from 8-10 AM
Thurs. May 19 Picnic Day…Pack a lunch and a drink from home for a great relaxing picnic at school…
Friday May 20 Clean up day…we will clean all of the table and chairs with shaving cream…and share lots of hugs on our last day together..

We will certainly miss Ms. Lisa and hope she enjoys her new job…and we expect some visits from her often…she has been wonderful to work with these past three years. Best of luck Ms. Lisa
