Introduction to Quaker Faith and Practice
The monthly session of Introduction to Quaker Faith and Practice will take place on December 14th at 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. at Rockford Meeting House. Childcare is available if requested in advance. The topic for the session is Discernment and Decision-Making facilitated by Bruce Heckman. For additional questions contact Pat Dewees.
Jim and Cheryl Keen’s annual caroling party will be Saturday Dec. 6th 3:30-7pm.
Friends Music Camp concert Dec. 29th, 7:30pm.
Transitions
Billie Eastman fell at home, and is now at Friends Care Center’s Rehab unit with a broken hip. Her optimism remains and she’s recovering well. She is spacing out visitors and recuperative sleep.

Grandma Ada died a few weeks ago. Terry Snider has been helping her, sometimes funded by our Meeting, for the past several winters and our Meeting has supported his work and those of other Meeting members and attenders while she maintained a presence on the land during the dispute with Peabody Coal.
