- What is it like to be coached by you? How would others describe their experience playing for you?
- What will your teams “hang their hat on?” what will define your teams’ play?
- What is/are your vision/goals for the St. Clair program? How will you define success?
- How would you describe a superior teacher/coach?
- Where have you gained your influence from? “Why do you coach the way you do?”
- What strategies do you use in communicating with your athletes and their parents?
- What would be the top three agenda items at your pre-season parent / athlete meeting?
- One of your first challenges will be building a coaching staff
- What characteristics are important to you in an assistant coach?
- Once assembled what would your first staff meeting sound like?
- What is your strategic and technical philosophy of football and give some details to your offensive and defensive philosophies that you would employ here at St. Clair
- At 3:00 PM if I walk out to the facility behind the school what will I see in the average practice day for the 9-12th grade football program, what will it look like? Then…… describe the elements of an effective practice? Walk us through a typical varsity football practice.
