Background

Birmingham City Council has successfully secured funding of £8m to deliver a business support package entitled “The Business Development Programme (BDP).

BDP will be a comprehensive business support programme, providing existing Small to Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in the Greater Birmingham & Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership (GBSLEP) area with grant support and subsidised coaching/mentoring, thereby stimulating private sector investment, business consolidation and growth. This in turn will lead to the creation of new jobs, the safeguarding of existing jobs, and increased economic prosperity.

The programme commenced September 2012 and runs until May 2015.

Our Requirements

Birmingham City Council requires production of 10 pull-up displays to launch this new programme.

The pull-up displays will be used as a tool at events to promote BDP to existing businesses within the GBSLEP region.

Pull-up displays:

Description: The quotes should be based on a canvas with a visual area of 800mm wide x 2,120mmm high.

The canvas is contained in a metal/plastic cassette base from which the roll-out banner graphic is extracted. The graphic is supported by a central pole (either 2 or 3-section pole joined together by an elastic bungee cord) which is usually stored in the cassette base. The pole attaches to/supports the top of the canvas and slots into the cassette base. The cassette has at least two support feet which can be moved to stabilise and secure the display when it is in an upright position. System to come complete with a carry bag for transportation and storage purposes.

If you wish to propose a different size of pull-up, please provide both a justification for the variance from this brief and quotes based on the same criteria.
