Build! –10:30 am-12:00 pm -- Create and build using a variety of great materials for the budding engineer: LEGO, K’Nex, Straws & Connectors, and more! For children in grades K-6—children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult. Drop in.

KidsMake – 4:30-- For kids who like to try new things. Crafts, science projects, building projects, electronics, and more! For kids in grades 3-6. A parent-signed release form is required to attend. Class size is limited. No class Nov. 23.

Get Ready for Kindergarten – 10:30 am – “All the Colors of the World”: Preschoolers explore different ways to play with colors, from The Mixed Up Chameleon to Thankful dinosaurs, through stories, crafts, and sensory play. For children ages 3-1/2 to 5. Class size is limited. Drop in.

Wimpy Kid Day – 3:00 pm – Come celebrate the release of the newest Diary of a Wimpy Kid book, Old School (Book 10). Games, crafts, and a Wimpy Kid trivia contest for Wimpy Kid fans. Grades K-6. Drop in. (Norristown area schools day off activity.)

KidsMake Studio – 4:30 pm – Open workshop time for kids who attend our regular KidsMake sessions. We supply the materials, the kids think up the projects! A parent-signed release form is required to attend. Class size is limited. No class Nov. 24.

Homework Helpers – 5:00-7:00 pm – Bilingual volunteers are available to help students with homework. For kids in grades K-6.

Marshmallows and Earthquakes - 3:00 pm – Come build a marshmallow/toothpick structure that can withstand an earthquake. Will yours be strong enough to stand? For kids in grades K-6. Norristown area schools early dismissal activity.

Baby Lap Rap –10:30 am - Simple stories, songs, rhymes and fingerplays for your baby and you! Ages 0-24 months with a caregiver. Drop in. No class Nov. 25.

Thursdays through December 17

Toddler Tickle Tales – 10:30 am - Stories, songs, fingerplays and simple games for the active toddler and early preschool child, followed by playgroup time with toys. Ages 2-4 with a caregiver. Drop in. No class Nov. 26.

Snacking Great with MyPlate! – 6:30 pm - Families are invited to learn healthy snack ideas and nutrition tips for kids, create healthy snacks, and eat what you make! Presented by PA Nutrition Education Tracks. Children must be accompanied by an adult. All ages. Registration required. Call 610-278-5100 x 205 or visit the Children’s Department to sign up.

Book Bombs! – All day – A Book Bomb is a fun message you create to hide in a book for other people to find. We will have markers and paper out all day for you to make up your own surprise message for some future reader of the book you choose to hide it in. Grades K-6. Drop in.
