CONGRATS TO OUR 2017-2018 BASKETBALL TEAM MEMBES: Junior Team: Luke Brown, Gavin DiMaggio, Blake Gillio, Brian Keller, David Keller, Zachary McCrossen, Mason Martello, Bryce O’Hara, Ethan Peavey, and Jack Vasterling; Senior Team: Chase DePhillips, Chance Latham, Gabriel Lozano, Cayden Munster, Iulian Nicolau, Ben Pennington, Hunter Shaw, and Harrison Trahan.
SWEET DAY: As a special treat for the students we will have a “Sweet Day” on Friday, October 20th. Please remember to send your child with extra change. Donations will be greatly appreciated. The proceeds will go to “Clothe a Child.”
SACRAMENTAL MEETING FOR PARENTS:
We will have our Parent Sacramental Meeting on Tuesday, October 24, 2017, at 7:00pm in the church. All parents who have children receiving the sacraments of Reconciliation and Holy Eucharist must attend. You will receive important information about these two special days in your child's life.
We will need you to send us a copy of your child's baptismal certificate and a $15 church fee to help defray the cost of both sacraments. You may either send cash or a check made payable to St. Christopher Church. You may send it to school in an envelope marked with your child's name, homeroom, and ATTN: Religion Teachers or bring both to the meeting on the 24th.
We are excited about sharing these two sacraments with you and your child. We look forward to seeing you on the 20th at 7:00pm in the church. God Bless!

HOME & SCHOOL CLUB NEWS
Fun Run Thankyou!! Thank you to all of our students, staff and families for making the Boosterthon Fun Run a success! We raised $37,172 for our school and had a great day!
Home & School Meeting & Kendra Scott Night: Join us Wednesday, November 8th before the Home and School Club meeting for Kendra Scott night! We will be hosting a Kendra Scott pop-up from 5:00-7:00 in the Parish Center. Come enjoy some "sips, sweets, and jewels" before the Home and School Club meeting! The Home and School Club social will begin at 7:00 in the gym followed by the meeting at 7:30. We will be collecting non-perishable food items at this meeting.

Coat Drive: The Knights of Columbus will be having their annual Coats for Kids drive next week. If you have any coats to donate please send them to the school office. The coats are given to children who cannot afford coats of their own. Any donation would be appreciated.
New extra-curricular activity - Golf Lessons. It is open to K-3rd grade students. Equipment is furnished and will be held on campus. Groups will meet for 6 lessons every Monday on campus; 3:30-4:30 p.m. $99.00 for six sessions. Flyers are coming home next week.
St. Christopher Halloween Costume Party: Friday, October 27, from 8:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. in the SCS gym. All parents, parishioners, faculty and staff are invited to join the Men’s Club for the party. Come in your best costume! Costume contest ends at 11:00 p.m. and the winner will be announced. Bring your beverages and snacks. Table setups and a DJ will be provided. Tickets at the door: $10.00. Must be 21 years of age or older.
TRUNK OR TREAT: St. Christopher Men’s Club is hosting “Trunk or Treat” to benefit the CYO. It will be held in the school yard Saturday, October 28th! If you would like to enter a car, entry forms went home or you can get one in the school office or on Plus Portals. Return the entry form to the school office. 50 cars are allowed in the yard – FIRST COME, FIRST SERVE! Make checks payable to “St. Christopher CYO.” Cost to attend “Trunk or Treat” is $1.00 per person. Ticket order forms previously went home and they are in the school office.
BLACK & ORANGE DAY: The Student Council is sponsoring "Black and Orange Day" on Tuesday, October 31. Students may substitute any uniform article, blouse, shirt, skirt, pants, or belt with a similar clothing article that is black or orange or Halloween related. As many uniform articles as possible may be substituted as long as the colors are maintained. Tennis shoes and blue jeans may be worn as well. Please be sure that the clothes worn are according to the school’s dress code. NO COSTUMES ARE ALLOWED!

The front pages will have a listing of the teachers, room mothers, School Board members, and Home & School Club officers and Committee Chairpersons. The following pages will have the children's names, addresses and telephone numbers (unless previously requested to be unlisted) in alphabetical order according to the child's last name.
The cost of the book will be $7.00 each. Please fill out the order form below and attach a check made payable to the St. Christopher School. The Student Directory will be sent home with your child upon receipt of the order.
