Installation Overview

·  Brinker International Corporation has engaged AT&T to install our programming service into their new and remodeled restaurants.

·  Work must be performed on the dates specified

NOTE: Installations are to be done as a 2 day truck roll process

Pre-Installation Requirements

·  Pre-call location 1 to 2 business day prior to confirm scheduled arrival time

o  During the pre-call, confirm with MOD that the new TV installation is “on track” for the day before our scheduled DIRECTV installation

o  If MOD states TV’s are not on-site/scheduled, place job status on hold, and notify Com Ops immediately

o  Technician must arrive the morning of TV installation at 7:00AM

o  All work must be complete by 10:30AM, and site cleaned up to ensure no disruption to the business or their customers

1st visit/truck roll

Project Onsite Hours

·  The hours of fulfillment are 7:00AM-10:30AM

·  All work must be complete by 10:30AM and site cleaned up to ensure no disruption of service

·  No work is to be completed outside these hours

·  TV’s may not be on site during the 1st visit, do not leave day 1 work must be completed as listed below

o  Install dish, SWiM 16, SWiM module PI-29, and update all fittings

ODU Install

·  All Installations will be a new Ka/Ku ODU w/SL5S, NPRM/w pad, and a minimum of 8 ballast block

NOTE: NPRM is the preferred mounting option

o  Use exiting POE and cable if it meets DIRECTV specs

o  Bonding of the DIRECTV ODU and system in accordance with NEC standards

Interior Site Work

·  Install SWiM module,PI-29, and splitter at the coax home run location

·  New SWiM module will be installed indoors at all sites

o  Technician will install a SWIM 16 module at the location where all receiver feeds originate from and provide the appropriate splitter network to support up to 16 tuners

·  Install new fittings on all new wiring that contractors have ran to new TV locations

·  AT NO TIME SHALL A DIRECTV TECHNICIAN REMOVE A TV FROM A MOUNT

2nd visit/truck roll

Project Onsite Hours

·  The hours of fulfillment are 7:00AM-10:30AM

·  All existing TV’s with receivers should have service up and running

·  No work is to be completed outside these hours

Receiver Setup

·  H25 receivers must be used for all installations

·  Technician should have spare receivers, RF remotes and 10 PIN cables on hand so that faulty ones can be replace immediately

·  H25 receiver w/RF Dongle, mount, RC65/66 remote

·  Remove and deactivate any receiver’s no longer in use

·  Program each remote control to operate 3 receivers and 3 TV’s

Remote Programming

·  RF remotes will be used on all installed systems

o  One remote will be issued for every 3 receivers

Technician must program each remote to control 3 receivers and 3 T V’s.

·  If needed reference the RF remote programming instructions

o  PDF document can be found on the Satinstalltraining.com web site or the DIRECTV.com dealer web site

Final Steps

·  Verify all existing receivers are operational and displaying content

·  Present standard customer education of the establishment personnel (MOD/Bartender) on system operation features, and remote control 3 to 1 usage

·  NO charges are to be discussed with the client at any time

·  For installation exceptions outside the standard work order, providers will use the standard VIP 1 form for additional compensation

·  In addition to all of the above, all work must be performed in accordance with all requirements of the Statement of Work for Commercial Installations.
