Extra-credit: Extra-credit may be earned by either:

The write-up must be accompanied by hand analyses of temperature, pressure, and frontal positions preceding, during, and after The amount of extra-credit will be determined by the quality of the writing, the use of correct terminology learned in class, and the quality of the analysis. These write-ups are due in class on 2 December. No exceptions.

2)  Participation in the national forecasting competition wxchallenge (wxchallenge.com). There is a $3.00 entry fee for this contest. You must sign-up for this by 21 September.
