Below is a partial List of missing items from Gettysburg Civil War show. The missing box was the last one packed up and then it just disappeared into thin air so it seems. A Dell keyboard box contained the items. This box was in a Canon (or another brand) scanner box with a small plastic handle, making it easier for me to handle with my handicap.

Signed photo, John Mosby, on a print done in the early 20th century from an 1866 photo. With the foxing and spotting and position of the autograph in relation to the picture, it is unique. (picture)

Pictures of framed painting of lady friend of Mosby’s sister who was the consignor’s great grandmother.

Progress Extra Broadside, about 6x9 inches, 1865, printed by the Raleigh Daily Progress talking about the march home, accompanied by a letter written by Stanley Bell, 174th Ohio Infantry, talking about the march home; undoubtedly sent the broadside home in his letter. Unique with the particular configuration of age spots. (picture)

The American Weekly Mercury, July 17th 1735, unique because of the archival repairs at the LL from previously bound volume. (picture)

Confederate Broadside, to the People of West Virginia, same as an unsold lot from Ira Goldberg (a firefox document) may or may not be able to open. (picture)

US postal history, Scott #1c (chocolate brown) on folded letter, nearly 4 margins, fresh condition, unique in appearance

US postal history, Scott #1 with faint Baltimore and Washington Railroad cancel, unique in appearance

Postal History, Great Britain #5 (complete stamp not cut to shape) on cover to France, with illustration inside folded letter of an exposition lettersheet (some internal damage) makes this cover unique in appearance. (pictures)

US Postal History, Washington RR blue cancel, franked by Wm. Sprague, member of congress, unique in appearance on folded letter.

Illustration check from the Eastern Express company, 1875,

War date clip signature of CSA general, AP Stuart, 1865, Army of Tenn. Thought I had a picture but cannot find it. Purchased on eBay from Fred Schmitt in July 2006. On blue paper, pretty small, irregular shape.

Confederate Adversity Cover, hand stamped paid, not sure of town name, but great illustrated advertising inside, flap opened, in pinkish color paper.
