DIRECTIONS FROM BEAUDESERT TO CEDAR GLEN
PLEASE NOTE: PEOPLE HAVE BECOME VERY LOST WHEN TRYING TO USE GPS TO GO DIRECTLY TO CEDAR GLEN. YOU MAY USE GPS TO TRAVEL TO BEAUDESERT; HOWEVER FROM THERE YOU MUST PLEASE FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
CEDAR GLEN is situated approximately 34km south of the township of Beaudesert. The location is 3338 Kerry Road, LostWorldValley.
To get onto Kerry RoadfromBrisbane side of Beaudesert, proceed straight ahead through the main set of traffic lights in the centre of Beaudesert –it is a good idea to set your vehicle tripmeter to zero at this set of lights. As a marker, you will notice a Kentucky Fried Chicken store on your immediate left once you have passed through the lights. Not long after that, you will see a swimming pool on your right and soon after, a golf course on your left – this is confirmation that you are onKerry Road and heading to Cedar Glen.
To get onto Kerry Roadfrom Gold Coast side of Beaudesert,turn sharp left at the main set of traffic lights in the centre of Beaudesert – it is a good idea to set your vehicle tripmeter to zero at this set of lights. As a marker, you will notice a Kentucky Fried Chicken store on your immediate left once you have passed through the lights. Not long after that, you will see a swimming pool on your right and soon after, a golf course on your left – this is confirmation that you are onKerry Road and heading to Cedar Glen.
Once through the lights and onto Kerry Road, proceed for approximately 34 kilometres without turning off the road. The drive from Beaudesert should take you between 30 – 40 minutes. The Cedar Glen driveway is on the right hand side (there is a sign) and has a distinct avenue of trees leading up to the homestead.If you do miss the driveway, you will reach the end of the bitumen road soon after and will see a road sign marked “Cedar Glen Road”. DO NOT turn up this road – just turn around and travel the half kilometre or so back to our driveway.
HANDY HINTS.
-If you have not passed the swimming pool on your right and golf course on your left within a few minutes of passing through the traffic lights, you are on the wrong road.
-You will pass over the AlbertRiver (bridges) 8 times between Beaudesert and Cedar Glen.
-Observe your tripmeter – we are 34 kms from the traffic lights in Beaudesert.
-The property numbers represent the distance you have travelled from Beaudesert. Eg. Our number 3338 means 33.38 km from Beaudesert.
