LIGHTING AND WORKPLACE RADIATIONS. Robin has worked with numerous medical, technical and end user groups to develop new testing systems for visual stress and means of testing the lighting environment and harmful radiations such as UV. Large gains in stamina, visual acuity, efficiency and concentration are produced by low stress lighting.

SAFETY PROGRAMS. The design and monitoring of improved safety and reliability programs in the office and industry has been an ongoing activity for the past 30 years..

AFFILIATIONS AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS

Author of 10 patents and invention records, 5 trade articles in the fields of Developmental Delays, Dyslexia, Optics, Fibers, Plastics, Rubber and Vision Testing. Collaborated in GE Edison award 1988. Director of PS 32 Project 2000, Speaker at Vision99 conference. Nationally listed by Teltech Expert Service.

Most recent patent deals with facilitating reading. The work has been described in the New York Times, The San Francisco Examiner, Washington Post and Development Delay Resources. Cooperative work with New York schools and the National Association for Visually Handicapped.-

Mathematics Teaching Hatfield University in the UK.

ESL activities with Rutgers University

SAT Preparation NJ and Brooklyn. Private students, at a local high school and at a Learning Center. This involved both the verbal and mathematics.

Co Director of the Design Team at PS 32 on Staten Island. This prepared a grant for the America 2000 initiative and several others involving the complete design of the school. This particular grant did not materialize but others did. This school is presently ranked the highest on Staten Island in their verbal and mathematics standardized test scores.

PS 142 in Manhattan. Central city school, 80% Latin student body. Worked with ESL students and improved environments.
