Meeting opened by Public Officer, Peter Cracknell at 5.40pm with a welcome for those attending.

Confirmation of Minutes of meeting held Tuesday March 23rd 2010

Motion: That the minutes of AGM held on March 23rd 2010 at Frankston International Hotel Nepean Highway Frankston be confirmed as true and correct

Business Arising from last Annual General Meeting

There was no business arising from the Minutes

Reports

President

Due to illness Peter Cracknell spoke on behalf of Sorin Ionascu. He acknowledged that members could read the reports however spoke of the effort of all fellow Board members, the sub committees, the Executive Officer and Office Administrator had put in over the last year and thanked them.

Peter also thanked Ryan Murphy, from the Sandhurst Club for providing the venue.

Motion: That the President’s report as tabled and spoke of be accepted

Treasurer

Audited Financial Statements for the Financial Year ended 31st December 2010 tabled by Treasurer Peter Patterson. Peter spoke to the report mentioning that minor procedural issues had been highlighted in the report, but that these have now been corrected, and that we have now enhanced some processes in the office. Peter thanked the Board for their help and support over the year.

Motion: To move the Financial Statements for 2010 as tabled be received and accepted

Since the number of nominations exceeded the vacancies available a Ballot was held with Returning Officers being Karin Hann and Sam Jackson. Votes were counted and the following nominees were elected.
