The Virginia and Alfred Harrell Foundation Agricultural Scholarship
It is with a great deal of pride that The Virginia and Alfred Harrell Foundation sponsors these agricultural scholarships, which honor not only the best of Kern County today but the rich heritage of Kern’s most precious resource – the excellence, leadership and innovation of Kern County’s Agriculture Community.
Eligibility:
- Seniors attending high school in the Kern High School District
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Entering as a full time student in a four year college or university with a major in agriculture
- Have met all requirements for admittance to college by end of senior year.
Scholarship amount = $1000.00
Complete application includes:
- Completed application
- Copies of all transcripts
- Photograph of applicant
- Three Confidential Statements
