(Drop-off is between 8:30 – 9:00, and pick-up is between 12:00--12:30 for both camps)

WHAT: SPORTS CAMP -- Boys and Girls of all ages will participate in a variety of competitive games that emphasize the development of athletic skills and are designed to increase a child’s understanding of the value of teamwork and cooperation. Participants will be supervised by members of the Walton High School athletic staff and responsible student-athletes working as mentors for your children. Activities will include: flag football, kickball, softball, basketball, speedball, capture the flag, soccer and a variety of other team and individual competitions. Frozen treats and water will be provided to ensure that participants remain cool and well hydrated.
FOOTBALL CAMP -- Each morning, the Walton staff and Raider football players will teach football the “Raider Way,” emphasizing the basic fundamental and techniques and encouraging an overall love of the game. In addition to instruction on the basic techniques of the game, athletes will gain a better understanding of teamwork and cooperation through a variety of competitive individual and group drills. This camp is a unique opportunity for young athletes to participate in small group settings with their peers to learn about sportsmanship in a competitive setting from one of the best coaching staffs in the Atlanta area.

SUPPLIES: Campers need to dress in comfortable clothing and are not required to bring anything else for camp.
Historically, boys and girls of all ages have enjoyed the variety of activities our fun camp offers. Everyday, campers will compete in new and different individual and team competitions designed to stimulate their appreciation and enjoyment of athletics and exercise.

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY:
In case of inclement weather, all outside activities will be cancelled and participating campers may be sent home if indoor facilities are not available. In this event, parents may elect to have their child attend a single day of any remaining camps offered; however, if campers are unable to attend future camps or no future camps are available, REFUNDS WILL NOT BE MADE AVAILABLE.

I certify that I have received any and all information that I deem necessary for my child to participate in the Walton Summer Camp identified above. Also, I agree to assume all risks of his/her participation in the program’s activity and agree to hold harmless Cobb County Public Schools, Walton High School, its employees or volunteers against any liability claims, damages or expenses arising from my child’s participation in the Walton Summer Camp.
Finally, I authorize the staff of the Walton Summer Camp to secure any emergency medical treatment necessary to treat my child in event that it is deemed necessary by the staff of the Walton Summer Camp.
