The ideal way to achieve nationally recognised training in playwork—and more!

‘Play-Way’ is a new 14 hour course plus reflective practice, written by Playwork Partnerships in Gloucestershire University and is endorsed and accredited by Skills Active. The course is underpinned by the Playwork Principles and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and provides learners with an introduction to children’s play and playwork.

The sessions include:

The course alsoattracts 14 continuous professional development points and is mapped to the National Occupational Standards at Level 2. The endorsement of the training is useful for learner’s CV’s as it demonstrates to employers that the training has met quality standards for the sector. It is designed as an introduction to playwork and a stepping stone to continue on to a level 2 qualification and further.
