- Approval of the Agenda (Document 952/1)
The Agenda of the meeting was approved.
- Approval of the Summary Record of the previous meeting (Document 952/2 (Rev.1))
The BDT Director had comments on the summary record. After some discussion and clarification, it was noted that the request in question was not for a graphic designer but rather a webmaster. This new description was submitted to the Coordination Committee for approval. In addition, the G post in question in BDT had already been resolved.
- HR Matters (Document 952/3; bis ; ter and Annexes)
Reclassification of posts
Mr. Dalhen presented the following reclassifications:
- ISO9/P3/751 – It was agreed to reclassify the post from P3 to P4.
- PM02/P3/1194 – It was agreed to reclassify the post from P3 to P4.
New Posts
Mr. Dalhen presented the following new post for creation:
- IS09/P./new – P1 – Junior Technical Support Officer. This is a request for two posts. The creation was approved.
- TDnew/P./new – P4 – Communication and Promotion Officer – The job description was reviewed. It was requested to make the alignments as discussed at the previous meeting. Noting the amendments that would be introduced the post was approved.
- TDnew/P./new – P2 – Junior Promotion Officer – The post creation was approved.
- TD32/P./new – P2 – Junior Cybersecurity Officer – The post creation was approved.
- TDNew/P./new – P2 – Webmaster – The post was initially presented as a web graphic designer. Noting the need to centralize graphics in the General Secretariat, the Secretary-General requested that the functions of the post be aligned with the other Sectors and that the post be renamed to Webmaster.
- Policy for the list of posts excluded from the application of the contractual policy
Mr. Dalhen presented an update of the situation and the criteria under development in order to prepare the list of posts that would be excluded. The Secretary-General requested prompt action in this regard.
As requested by the Secretary-General at the earlier meeting, the Departments C&P, IS, FIMD, HRMD have offered the provisional lists to HR. The Secretary-General highlighted the importance of measures to be taken as soon as possible, and requested the Bureaux to take quick actions to offer their lists.
- Proposal for a revised classification procedure(Document 952/5)
Mr. Dalhen briefly introduced the document. In light of its importance, it will be discussed in detail at the next meeting.
- ITU Staff Awards(Document 952/6)
Mr. Dalhen presented the proposal concerning the staff awards to be given on 17 May. The Coordination Committee agreed that HR would send a memo to all Managers to request nominations.

The next Coordination Committee meeting will be held on 9 April.
