·  Approx. $30,000 available for media. Tanis would like to see half of that used in a fall media campaign. Gwendy mentioned that Libraries she has made contact with are interested in doing a parenting promotion program this fall.

·  Tanis will ask Susan Healey to prepare a media plan for the fall with a budget of $15,000.

5.3  Database review

·  Deferred.

5.4  Community Calendar

·  Reviewed new Google calendar posted on Triple P website. Discussed means of updating the calendar.

5.5  Community Plan

·  Feedback received. Minor changes required. The revised document will be sent to Marg Fancy for inclusion on the EKIOC September agenda.

5.6  Training plans

·  Eastern Ontario is holding training seminars this fall.

·  Brief primary Level 2 can be taken without taking Level 3 training. Brief primary Level 2 is training on how to run through a tip sheet.

·  Discussed challenges with Level 2 seminar training – curriculum includes “how to do a PowerPoint presentation” which is redundant for most trainees in our area. Staff trained in Level 3 have the capacity to deliver Level 2, but don’t have the accreditation.

·  Shannon enquired about training in French to accommodate Ange-Gabriel.

·  Current budget would allow for five attendees from our area. Team members agreed that participants need to have accountability.

ACTION: Tanis will make enquiries with Triple P Ontario re: allowing Level 3 trained staff to deliver Level 2 seminars without the Level 2 seminar training.

ACTION: Tanis to e-mail agencies re: current training opportunities and capacity for five to attend with Triple P funding.
