Earthquake Newscast Project (30 points)

1) Research a famous earthquake that took place somewhere in the world.

2) Create a newscast about your earthquake. Your newscast must include:

·  The location of epicenter (city, country, continent, etc..) (2 pts.)

·  The date and time (2 pts.)

·  The magnitude (2 pts.)

·  The intensity in two different locations (2 pts.)

·  What fault line caused it? (2 pts.)

·  At least 2 visuals (such as a map or pictures, poster, power point, etc..) (10 pts.)

3) Present your newscast to the class Pretend you are on the real news! (10 pts)
