AMMENDED Stationery lists 2017

Dear Parents,

Please find attached the amended 2017 stationery list for your child. There was a mistake on the original list please check this list for what is needed.

As you are aware it is up to each family to buy the stationery that is required for 2017. You will need to buy the stationery for your child’s class in 2017 and bring it all to school on the first day in January 2017. It is very important to LABEL each item you bring to school as the class teacher will store your child’s items and give it to them as they need it.

Please remind your children that it is their responsibility to look after the stationery that is given to them. We have put these lists together and should last a full year if items are looked after. For example your list might require 12 pencils for the year. If your child loses his pencil and comes to ask for another one each day in two weeks all his pencils will be used up and you will be required to buy more. Labelling items will ensure they do not get mixed up with other children’s items and if misplaced will have a good chance of being found and given back to the child.

You are welcome to buy your stationery at any store- PnP, Checkers, Walton’s, CNA, PNA, MAKRO etc. We have put down certain makes of items as from experience we know these maybe slightly more expensive however they are a better quality and last longer than cheaper versions. Please shop around for best price. We will make labels for each book next year in the classroom. You are welcome to cover the book in colourful paper/ brown paper however each book does need to be covered in plastic as it increases the life of the book keeping it neat and tidy throughout the year.

Personalised rulers can be ordered (these are optional). Orders need to be at school by 11th November, rulers ordered by then will be delivered by 25th November. Order after this will be collected and delivered in January 2017.
