The Awards recognise excellence among journalists, photographers, editors and publishers in print, radio, television and digital media.

Now in their fifth year, the PMMAs are open to all multicultural media professionals across 14 award categories, which for the first time include a Public Interest Award and Best Short-Form Feature.

2016 Lifetime Award winner Armando Tornari OAM said the PMMAs recognise the commitment of multicultural media professionals to their outlets and community.

“I was honoured to be named the Lifetime Award winner last year. These Awards are an excellent opportunity for all multicultural media outlets to be recognised for their hard work in keeping their community informed,” Mr Tornari OAM said.
