Red Hill Breakfast Club
“REDDIES”
We opened our breakfast club on 23rd February, 2015, and it is run from our studio hall at Red Hill Primary School. The club offers a safe, and welcoming start to your child’s day at school. It is run by four staff members: Mrs Davis, (Manager and play leader), her deputy, Mrs Pocock, Mrs Fuller and Mrs Weatherden. These ladies are long standing staff at Red Hill and are all DBS-checked and hold appropriate qualifications in first aid and food hygiene.
The club is informal and friendly, allowing the children a chance to eat and socialise with their friends before the start of the school day. It provides a quiet space for reading, and a free play area, as well as more structured activities.
Our breakfasts comprise of a choice of healthy cereals, fresh fruit, toast or other bakery products and a choice of a hot breakfast, fruit juices and milk. Breakfast is prepared and served by our catering company Pabulum.
Sessions run from 7.45am until 8.35 am, Monday to Friday inclusive and cost £3.50 per child per day.
There are 40 places which are allocated on a first come, first served basis. Children need to be registered by parents completing and returning registration and terms and conditions documents as well as making their on line payment to secure the place. Parents of children who wish to attend the club on a regular basis with a block booking will be given first preference, however parents also have the flexibility to book ad-hoc sessions, where places are available.
If you are interested in securing a place, please collect the forms from the school office or download them from the school website. Completed forms should be returned to the school office before a booking can be made online.
