Membership Consulting Contract
This Agreement (“Agreement”) is made effective this 30th day of December, 2005, between the Newnan Coweta Chamber of Commerce, a Georgia Corporation (“The Chamber”), and Marvin McKoy (“Marvin McKoy”). This position is a contract labor position and the individual accrues no benefits associated with Chamber employment.
OBJECTIVES:
Sell Chamber memberships
Retain Chamber memberships
Upgrade existing Chamber memberships
Sell Chamber products
COMMISSION:
35% on all new sales, up to $3,000/ month
45% if new sales exceed $3,000/month
25% on all 1st year renewals only
10% on ads/sponsorships or other products sold
$500 cap on all Enhanced Investors
MONTHLY BONUS:
$6,000 in Chamber sales $500 bonus
$9,000 in Chamber sales $750 bonus
$12,000 in Chamber sales $1000 bonus
MEMBER RENEWALS:
If a Chamber member renews within 6 months of their original anniversary date, commission will be paid at the renewal rate of 25% on all 1st year renewals. After 6 months the commission will be paid at the new sales rate of 35%. Commissions paid on renewal accounts may only be made while Consultant is under contract with the Chamber. Should this agreement be terminated, the Chamber is under no obligation to pay future commissions. Commissions on renewals will be paid the month following the member’s renewal payment.
EXPENSES:
All reasonable expenses to include mileage, cell phone, meals, and miscellaneous items will be paid up to $400 per month and must be accompanied by the appropriate receipts in order to receive full reimbursement. Consultant agrees to maintain adequate records as required by IRS rules and regulations. Mileage will be reimbursed at the current IRS rate.
A monthly activity report must accompany the expense report in order to receive reimbursements.

PERFORMANCE REVIEW / ACCOUNTABILITY:
The Consultant reports to the Director of Membership, who reports to the President. Monthly commission reports must be turned in with supporting documentation no later that the first Friday of every month.
MEETINGS & EVENTS:
The Chamber provides complementary access to all Chamber events and programs, along with a complementary Chamber membership. Consultant is expected to attend all weekly staff meetings, Early Bird Forums, Business After Hours, New Member Receptions, and any other meetings identified by the Chamber Director of Membership and/or the Chamber President.
ETHICS:
The Consultant represents the Newnan-Coweta Chamber in the field. Professional sales ethics must be adhered to at all times. Grounds for termination of contract include the use of improper sales ethics or the falsification of paperwork.
AMENDMENTS:
The Chamber reserves the right to amend these procedures and commissions as necessary at any time.
