JOB DESCRIPTION
SERVICE DEPARTMENT SUPERVISION:
Ø Performs supervisory responsibilities by overseeing contractors and technicians, staffing requirements, work schedules, monitoring of work progress, estimates and work plans for the efficient deployment of the maintenance workforce and providing status reports to senior management
Ø Supervises independently and in harmony with the automotive shop foreman and communicates with the superiors and subordinates.
Ø Schedules and implements the smooth flow of general shop repairs and preventive maintenance workload
Ø Act as an over-all Officer-in-Charge as designated by the Operations Manager
GENERAL JOB:
Ø Monitoring of the daily and monthly general service and body repair sales
Ø Ensure smooth work flow in the service area
Ø Monitoring of parts availability/ inventory
Ø Monitor attendance of technicians and service advisors
Ø Coordinate with insurance companies regularly
Ø Promoting and selling all services offered by the dealer
Ø Planning and assigning the task to the workshop
Ø Monitoring the prescribed sequence of work and ensuring that deadlines are observed
Ø Lead and provide directions and guidance in regular service meeting
