COMP TICKET POLICY
This policy is brand new as of 2017-18 and more generous, please read carefully.
These policies apply to paid/ticketed events at all Boston Conservatory venues. All complimentary tickets are limited and based on availability. If you reserve a complimentary ticket, please ensure you use it. Tickets go on-sale each semester on the first Wednesday of the semester, at noon.
Comp: A complimentary ticket reserved free of charge
Production: The entire run of a specific show (ex. In the Heights)
Performance: A single performance within a production (ex. June 5, 8p.m. performance of In the Heights)
Opening Night: The first ticketed and open-to-the-public performance of a show
FACULTY/STAFF AND STUDENTS
Two (2) comps per performance – must be reserved in advance, before the deadline as defined above
- To redeem your Faculty/Staff comps, your Berklee email addressis your “Membership ID”
- To redeem Student tickets, your Conservatory or Berklee email address (as applicable)is your “Membership ID”
- Visit bostonconservatory.berklee.edu/events, call or visit the box office 617-912-9222 during box office hours (W-F, 12-5pm)
PRODUCTION/CREWCOMPS
Twenty (20) comps per performance in the Main Stage, ten (10) for Seully Hall,and fifteen (15) for the Zack Boxwill be made available to the director or director’s designee for production/crew, guests, and department members who need more than their free pair (accessible per the above.) A reminder, student cast and crew can get comp tickets in advance per above policy. If you have unused tickets, please inform the the box office no later than 24 hours before opening night, so they can be returned back to inventory.
SEAT HOLDS FOR BERKLEE DEPARTMENTS
Berklee departments may request to hold a block of seats to purchase. These holds can be coordinated with the box office. We will reserve the best available seating at the time of the request. Departments are responsible for reaching out to the box office five (5) business days before the date of the show to release or purchase tickets. If the box office does not receive information regarding holds at this time, seats will be released for sale. Group discounts for 10+ tickets will be applied, and tickets must be purchased using your department P-Card or cash. Please coordinate a meeting with the Ticket Operations and Patron Services Manager. Departments are responsible for distributing these tickets to their guests.
