Understand the structures and process of plants
Understand the flow of energy through ecosystems
Understand the effect of abiotic factors on living organisms
Essential Standard-6.L.1 Understand the structures, processes and behaviors of plants that enable them to survive and reproduce.
6.L.2: Understand the flow of energy through ecosystems and the responses of populations to the biotic and abiotic factors in their environment. / Unit 4 (Life Science) continued (3 weeks)

Understand how Earth’s crust moves and the results of these movements.
Understand importance of soil quality and the affects it has on human’s health.
Understand basic characteristics of rocksand minerals.
Essential Standard: 6.E.2Understand the structure of the earth and how interactions of construction and destructive forces have resulted in changes in the surface of the earth over time and the effects of the lithosphere on humans. / Unit 5 Earth Exploration
