Matthew 28

And after (late on) the Sabbath, it being dawn (to let shine upon) unto the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to look at the tomb.

And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord having descended from out of heaven, and having come, rolled away the stone, and was sitting on top of it.

And his appearance was like an lightning and the his apparel white like as snow.

And from fear of him, those keeping guard shook and became like as dead men.

And answering, the angel said to the women, Fear not you; for I know that you seek Jesus, the One having been crucified.

He is not here, for He is risen, just as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying.

And go quickly and say to His disciples that He is risen away from the dead; and behold, He goes before you into Galilee; there you will see Him. Behold, I have told you.

And going away quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy, they ran to announce (report) it to His disciples,

And as they were going to announce it to His disciples, and behold, Jesus met them, saying, Greetings! (Hail!, Be glad!, Rejoice!) and having come to Him, they took hold of His feet and worshipped Him.

Then Jesus says to them, Do not fear. Go, announce to My brothers so that they go away into Galilee, and there they will see Me.

And as they were going, Behold, some of the guard, having gone into the city, reported (announced) to the chief priests all the things that had happened.

And having been gathered together with the elders, and having taken consultation, they gave a considerable (sufficient, fitting) amount of silver pieces to the soldiers,

Saying, Say that His disciples having come by night, secretly stole Him, while we slept.

And if this is heard by (upon) the governor, we will persuade him and keep you free from concern (anxiety).

And having taken the money, they did as they were taught. And this word is spread throughout by the Jews until the present day.

And the eleven disciples went into Galilee unto the mountain where Jesus appointed (designated, arranged) them.

And having seen Him, they worshipped; however some doubted (wavered, double-standing).

And having come to them, Jesus spoke to them, saying, All authority has been given to Me in heaven and upon the earth.

Go therefore, disciple all the ethnicities (nations), baptizing them into the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit;

Teaching them to observe (watch over, guard, keep) all things whatever I commanded you. And behold, I am with you all the days until the culmination (consummate coming together of all into the whole) of the age.
