1. Description

Monitoring and surveillance of the safe deposit boxes and the security relevant keys at JRC Karlsruhe.

Your personal data will be collected and further processed for the purposes detailed hereafter under point 2. The processing of the data is under the responsibility of the Head of Unit of JRC Sites Radioprotection & Security, as controller.

For the collection and further processing of personal data, regulation (EC) 45/2001 by the European Parliament and the Council of 18th December 2000 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data by the Community institutions and bodies and on the free movement of such data is applicable.

Identification data: Name, First name, badge number, key inside: yes/no, key number, Date/Time

Purpose of processing: The processing consists of monitoring, surveillance and generating reports concerning the withdrawal and return of the security relevant keys of JRC Karlsruhe from the safe deposit boxes.

Technical means: The Physical Protection Service records, manages and monitors the related information on secured IT-systems.

Qualified and experienced Physical Protection Service Staff, and if required competent authorities according to legal requirements.

4. How do we protect and safeguard your information?

The collected personal data and all information related to the above mentioned processing are stored on secured IT-systems.

6. How long do we keep your data?

The personal data of staff and permanent contractors will be will be deleted at the end of the calendar year where there contracts expires.
