Eighth Annual USGN User Conference Gets High Ranks from Attendees for Content Relevancy and Informative Presentations
Attendees of the Eighth Annual USGN User Conference came to Tempe, Arizona on November 9 and 10, 2011 to learn about new USGN development tools and share successes with incorporating USGN as a robust and integral part of their construction and site related workflow. Topics ranged from synthesizing practices and tracking costs at a global level to best practices in managing differing end user requirements to using USGN with iPads and smartphones.
The diversity of attendees' experiences with USGN tools made for interesting discussions as participants addressed key components of their website implementations. Presentations included how USGN sites are being employed for cost effective financial processes, key company-wide databases, preliminary site investigations, and invitations to bid based on geographic location and expertise. Effective integration with third party software such as accounting systems and mapping tools was also addressed at the conference.
USGN provided an overview of software releases and enhancements over the past year plus workshops on how to use new capabilities to augment existing sites.
