This2nd AIDS and Livelihoods Technical Exchange Forum aims to promote discussion among practitioners, financiers, academics and advocates from Cambodia, China, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam to describe the various models of sustainable livelihoods interventions being carried out on the ground and highlight the achievements of the field level actors as well as on increase the visibility of the programs and create a mechanism of scaling up and supporting the work.

At the Executive Briefing for Business Leaders and Donors Session,Corporate Sector, Livelihoods Practitioners, Microfinance Practitioners, Researchers, Public Health Professionals, Policy Makers and Mediawill be invited to attend the session.The overall objectives are:

  • To deepen understanding of AIDS and livelihoods programs through the exchange of practical, technical, and useful information that can help inform programming and policymaking.
  • To develop strategies and ideas on how successfully piloted AIDS and livelihoods program can be expanded to serve more HIV affected communities that are in need.
  • To serve as an opportunity for networking and partnership building among practitioners, government, donors, and interested individuals in the area of AIDS and livelihoods in Asia.
