Associate Scientist I, Genetic Analysis(Boston; San Diego; Seattle)

Responsibilities:

  • Perform DNA sequencing services, including: sample receipt and processing, reaction log preparation, reaction set-up, post-reaction preparation, capillary electrophoresis set-up, and related tasks;
  • Prepare DNA sequencing templates, including: DNA transformation, preparation, amplification, and PCR purification;
  • Routine maintenance of DNA sequencers;
  • DNA sequencing troubleshooting;

Job Requirements:

  • A.A.S. or B.S. in Biological Sciences or related field;
  • Team-player with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • 1+ years lab experience preferred.

Associate Scientist I/II, Development (South Plainfield, NJ)

Responsibilities:

  • Design, plan, and execute product- and service-related projects related to molecular biology, biochemistry, and genomics/genetics development within GLP regulations;
  • Develop and optimize SOPs to streamline and improve production processes;
  • Train and supervise junior level scientists;
  • Support troubleshooting efforts for production projects;
  • Support Sales Marketing related to business development efforts.

Job Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Biology, Biochemistry, Genomic Sciences, or related field;
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in molecular biology, biochemistry, and genomics methodologies, including, but not limited to various nucleic acid related techniques, protein purification, and assay development;
  • Detail oriented team-player with strong interpersonal communication skills;
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment;
  • Knowledge of and experience with bioinformatics preferred.

Scientist I, Regulatory Services (South Plainfield, NJ)

Responsibilities:

  • Perform molecular biology and genomics services, including hands-on bench research and project troubleshooting;
  • Develop and optimize SOPs to streamline and improve production processes;
  • Train and supervise junior level scientists;
  • Support Sales & Marketing related to business development efforts.

Job Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Biology, Genomic Sciences, or related field;
  • 1-5 years of experience in molecular biology, biochemistry, and genomics methodologies, including, but not limited to various nucleic acid related techniques, protein purification, and assay development;

Scientist II, Project Management (South Plainfield, NJ)

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with customers related to Gene Synthesis and Molecular Biology services, including gene synthesis, cloning, mutagenesis, SNP analysis, and other custom services;
  • Provide expert technical assistance to internal and external customers;
  • Collaborate across departments to ensure customer satisfaction.

Job Requirements:

  • Ph.D. in Molecular Biologyor related field;
  • 1-5 years of post-doctoral experience in molecular biology, gene synthesis, PCR, cloning, subcloning, mutagenesis, vector design, and other genomic analysis techniques;
  • Team-player with strong interpersonal communication skills;
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment;

Business Analyst (South Plainfield, NJ)

Responsibilities:

  • Full lifecycle management of business requirements , including initiation, development, review, and sign-off;
  • Collaborate with key business stakeholders and manage development of business requirements;
  • Execute business requirement documentation and assist with IT design;
  • Develop test cases and user training plans based on business requirements;
  • Create documentation for processes and implementations;
  • Ensure projects completion on-time and on-budget with high quality deliverables.

Job Requirements:

  • B.S in Computer Science or related field;
  • 2-4 years of experience in Business Analysis and application development lifecycle;
  • Experience in web applications development, and knowledge of software development, standards, and methodologies;
  • Familiarity with technologies including, but not limited to: C#, ASP.NET, Master Pages, shared library development, Web Services, XML, and Reporting;
  • Detail oriented team-player with strong interpersonal communication skills;
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Senior .NET Developer (South Plainfield, NJ)

Responsibilities:

  • Act as technical leader for global development team;
  • Develop, implement and support applications and tools used for content management, e-commerce, web publishing, etc.;
  • Design and develop web user interfaces which interface with SQL Server databases and other tools;
  • Provide technical recommendations and documentation, as well as evaluation of new technologies;
  • Create documentation for processes and implementations.

Job Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in software development;
  • Experience managing small- and medium-sized projects;
  • LIMS development experience, and PERL Scripting experience preferred;
  • Detail oriented team-player with strong interpersonal communication skills;
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment;
  • Bilingual in English and Chinese preferred.
