Motion by Bill Cook to accept December 2016 meeting minutes, 2nd by Jeremy Winterstein. Motion passed.
CORRESPONDENCE

OPENFORUM
Sarah Pokorzynski, Lauren Brooks, and Kirby Cook spoke about concerns with the Bantam house team. They asked the board to consider paying the full amount for Districts and for extra practices. The board agreed to pay the full amount of the Bantam districts. Bill Cook to further look into how much money bantam team has spent to this point in the season to see if extra practices are an option.
AHATREASURERS REPORT
Budget was discussed but no motion was taken as Lisa Abend was absent.
OLDBUSINESS
Try hockey for free 2/25/17: Bill Cook to take care of flyers for event, to finalize who can help with event at next meeting.
PeeWee Districts: Sign-up sheet going around for volunteers.
PeeWee head to head games for distict seeding: This issue was resolved prior to the meeting. Two games were already played and JB Cook’s team won both games. No further games required between the two teams.
Bantam practices: Bill Cook & Julie VanDusen to look further into how many practices/games they have used to this point in the season to see if additional practices are warranted.
PeeWee travel 17/18 season: Nothing new to report.
NEWBUSINESS
Financial position: To be discussed at next meeting when treasurer is present.
Practices and games moving forward: This will be determined when we see what our financial position is at the end of the season.
Locker room policies: Andy to send an email out to coaches. Signs have been posted outside the locker rooms.
Season ending banquet: Board agreed to host the banquet at NLA.
Discussion held over the conflict with Mite AAU kids missing AHA games so they can attend their AAU games.
